This quarter in ICT has been a blast! I've learned so much cool stuff, like how to make lists on a webpage. We started with unordered lists, which are great for when the order doesn't really matter, like a shopping list. Then we learned about ordered lists, which are perfect for steps in a recipe or instructions where the order is super important.
One of the trickier things we tackled was framesets. It was kind of like putting together a puzzle, trying to get all the different parts of the webpage to fit together just right. It took some time to get the hang of it, but once I did, it felt awesome to create a webpage with different sections.
We also got to dive into community-based research. This was really interesting because it showed us how we can use ICT to learn more about our own communities. We got to think about how technology can help us solve problems and make things better for everyone.
Challenges and How I Overcame Them
Sometimes, coding can be a bit frustrating. Like when I spent ages trying to figure out why my frameset wasn't working! But I didn't give up. I checked my code carefully, asked my teacher for help, and even looked up some tutorials online. Eventually, I figured it out! It felt so good to solve the problem on my own.
Moving Forward
I'm excited to keep learning more about ICT. I want to get better at coding and maybe even start working on my own projects. I'm also interested in exploring how ICT can be used to help people and make a positive impact on the world.
